Benoît Maréchal is co-founder of Collin Maréchal, which later became CM Law and then LuxLex.
He was head of Baker & McKenzie Luxembourg's Employment and Immigration Law department and co-head of its Litigation department. He also worked at Linklaters de Bandt in Brussels, Employment law practice.
Benoît is a former lecturer at the University of Liège and the author of numerous articles and lectures. He is also a member of the IBA (International Bar Association), ELSA (Employment Law Specialists Association in Luxembourg) and the Think Tank for the development of arbitration in Luxembourg.
Benoît received his legal training at the American University in Washington DC, College of Law. He is also a graduate of the Université de Liège (Ulg), where he obtained a DES in employment law, and of the Université Catholique de Louvain (UCL), where he obtained a Licence en droit.

After co-managing the business law department and leading and developing the business litigation department in a Luxembourg law firm as a partner, he founded the Osmond law firm and then decided to join forces with LuxLex Avocats à la Cour to create LuxLex.
He specialises in assisting company directors and managers who are looking for support in managing their structures, and is therefore involved in both advisory and litigation work.
He began his career as a lawyer specialising in company law before developing a parallel practice in business litigation. He is also a member of FEDIL.
Alexandre holds a Master 2 in Business Law from the University of Orléans, a Master 1 in Corporate Law and Taxation from the University of Rouen, a Licence in Law/Languages from the University of Le Havre, and an LLM in American Law from the University of Saint-Louis (Mo).

Christine Ntumba is a partner at LuxLex Avocats à la Cour, now LuxLex, following the merger with Osmond.
She has also worked as a tax lawyer at PriceWaterHouseCoopers Luxembourg, Loyens and Loeff Luxembourg, Sagnard & associés and Ethikos Luxembourg. For 10 years she set up and managed the tax compliance section of the tax department at Dentons Luxembourg (formerly OPF Partners). She is also a former tax inspector in the Democratic Republic of Congo and the author of several publications in the magazine Getting the Deal Through. She is a member of the IFA (International Fiscal Association) in Luxembourg.
She has over 20 years' experience as a tax lawyer (national and international taxation). She advises mainly on the tax aspects of cross-border transactions involving international financial groups and multinational companies (including investment funds and management/advisory companies, banks, holding companies and private equity structures), transfer pricing, construction companies, real estate structures, trading companies...
Christine has a law degree from the University of Kinshasa (UNIKIN), as well as an equivalent law degree from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB). She also has a postgraduate diploma in tax law from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB).

Bertrand Gourdain joined LuxLex Avocats à la Cour in January 2020 as Fund Principal. In September 2024, the firm merged with Osmond to form LuxLex.
He has significant expertise in structuring, setting up and establishing regulated and non-regulated investment funds. Bertrand is a member of ALFI (Association Luxembourgeoise des Fonds d'Investissement) and the ILA (Institut Luxembourgeois des Administrateurs)-(ILA Alternatives Taskforce).
Bertrand graduated from the University of Paris II Assas with a Master's degree in Private Law in 1997. In the same year he obtained an LLM - Magister Legum from Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich. He also obtained a postgraduate diploma (DESS) in European Community law from the University of Paris I Sorbonne in 1998. He also holds an HEC Executive MBA from Paris (2008-2009).

Clément Scuvée joined LuxLex Avocats à la Cour in 2020. In September 2024, the firm joined forces with Osmond to create LuxLex.
Prior to this, he practised for 4 years at Molitor. Before that, he worked at Adam & Bleser, first as a lawyer and then as a solicitor. He began his career in 2014 as a lawyer at CM Law, working alongside Benoît Maréchal, the firm's founder.

Virginie Brouns joined LuxLex Avocats à la Cour in 2019. In September 2024, the firm joined forces with Osmond to create LuxLex.
A member of the Luxembourg Bar, Virginie spent more than 15 years at the Luxembourg Bar. She began her career at Philippe & Partners, where she stayed for 8 years, before joining Collin Maréchal for 3 years, where she worked alongside Benoît Maréchal, the firm's founder.
Virginie obtained a law degree from the Université Catholique de Louvain in 2007.

Versatile and experienced, it was a natural step for him to join LuxLex, the result of a merger with Osmond.
He has over 7 years' experience as a lawyer in Luxembourg in various litigation practices in real estate and civil law. He also spent 5 years working as a lawyer for one of Luxembourg's leading trade unions, as well as 2 years for the Luxembourg Bar.
Matthias holds a Master's degree in Public Law from the Université Robert Schuman (URS Strasbourg III), as well as a Law degree from the Université Libre de Belgique (ULB).

Mélissa Peña Pires worked at LuxLex Avocats à la Cour for many years, so it's only natural that she should now be working at LuxLex, the result of the merger with Osmond.
A qualified lawyer with over 10 years' experience at the Bar, she completed her traineeship at the Court of Justice of the European Union and the Administrative Court of Luxembourg.
Mélissa holds an LLM in European Litigation from the University of Luxembourg. She also obtained a Master 2 in European Economic Law and a Licence en droit from the same university.

Chahrazed Haya worked for a leading Luxembourg accounting firm as a tax specialist before becoming a lawyer. She also worked for Osmond before joining LuxLex when it merged with LuxLex Avocats à la Cour.
Chahrazed holds a Bachelor's degree in private law and a Master 1 in business law, both from the University of Lorraine. She spent a summer semester at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland, as part of an Erasmus exchange. Choubeila Laib worked for LuxLex Avocats à la Cour. In September 2024, the latter joined forces with Osmond to form LuxLex.
Choubeila worked for 5 years in the Compliance department of an internationally renowned bank in Luxembourg. She is a Compliance Officer in the financial sector, holding the Certificat Professionnel de Compétence en matière de Conformité issued by the House of Training in Luxembourg. She is also a former member of the Association Luxembourgeoise des Compliance Officer (ALCO).
Choubeila holds a Master 2 in International and European Law, as well as a Licence in Law. Both degrees were obtained from the Universities of Toulouse Capitole (France) and Mannheim (Germany).

Lucas Luthi is an Associate at LuxLex, the result of the merger between LuxLex Avocats à la Cour and Osmond.
He trained as a notary and has over 4 years' experience in this field in Luxembourg and France. He is also a former member of the Clinique du Droit de la Consommation de Luxembourg.

Claire Amadori is a Clerc d'Avocat and worked for several years at LuxLex Avocats à la Cour. In September 2024, the firm joined forces with Osmond to form LuxLex.
Prior to this, she spent 6 years with a general law firm in France, where she acquired solid expertise, particularly in insolvency proceedings. She also spent 2 years in editorial distribution for the first-level bookshops of Éditions Grasset. Prior to that, she was a bookseller for 9 years (she graduated from ASFODEL in Paris in 2001).
Claire is a graduate of the University of Metz, where she obtained a DEUG in Applied Foreign Languages: for English, Spanish and Italian. She also graduated from the École Nationale de Droit et de Procédure in Paris as a Clerc d'Avocat and trained as a Legal Assistant and Legal Secretary.
